World's Greenest Building to Use Stainless Steel

The interest in stainless steel structural components is illustrated by the specification of 15 tons of custom beam sections in 316 for a building at 625 W. 57th St. in New York City. In addition, 181 tons of cladding is involved. NI sector specialist Catherine Houska advised the owners (Durst), architect (BIG) and others regarding use of stainless steel on this project.
